This may be a dead issue to some and others, I’m sure, could care less, but is Mr. 17.5, a.k.a. Young Jizzle, a.k.a. Young Jeezy a fake drug dealer? The reason I state this could be a dead issue for some is because a year or so ago the late, great Pimp C was quoted in Ozone Magazine and was heard on a local Atlanta radio station calling certain rappers (Young Jeezy) out about quoting “fake dope prices.” All this nonsense or beef was squashed between the parties involved right away, but my question is this: Why is Jeezy still quoting these “fake dope prices.” Now I’m not one to doubt someone’s street cred (OK, maybe I am) because for all I know all the D-Boy posturing in his bio is legit and, hypothetically, he could have a connection somewhere other than where Pimp said he was getting these infamous, dirt cheap keys (Houston). I am aware of his ties to BMF, but I suspect his position in that organization was more puppet status than say, trapping. So where did dude get these mystical prices from? So over the holiday break, I got a chance to peep the movie Ghost Of Cite Soleil. I'll first start off by saying that i'm not a movie buff at all. I went to the movies three times in '07. I peeped Cocaine Cowboys, The Departed and Snakes On A Plane. I know what the millions of R2L fans are thinking, "Our beloved daruffian actually saw that whack shit?"
Yeah i did but here's the skinny. I saw it on a date. It also can be said, I no longer fuck wit the chick because we just "weren't compatible." I guess her wanting to see that whack ass movie should have been a red flag. Anyways, Ghost Of Cite Soleil is the most hardbody documentary I've seen to date.
First off, not to get on a soap box but if the U.S. wants to police the world, they could at least start in a place that's a 2 hour plane ride from Miami. Moving along, this joint follows two brothers, Tupac and Bily. These cats are two gang leaders in the gulliest hood in the world. To back track abit, its no secret that Haiti is gully. These kids are running the gulliest hood in Haiti to put shit in a proper prospective.
However they arent a gang like on sum Crips and blood shit. These cats are fighting for the cause, or so they believe. The illest shit was when the kid Tupac pulled up in a jeep bumping the unreleased version of 2Pac's joint "There Will Neva Be Peace." Oops! i almost slipped up. Just cause its '08 don't think i was gonna review this joint for you on some Siskel & Ebert shit. Peep the trailer then and go Netflix the shit. Thank me later. WASHINGTON - The U.S. Sentencing Commission voted unanimously Tuesday to allow some 19,500 federal prison inmates, most of them black, to seek reductions in their crack cocaine sentences. The commission, which sets guidelines for federal prison sentences, decided to make retroactive its recent easing of recommended sentences for crack offenses. Roughly 3,800 inmates could be eligible for release from prison within a year after the March 3 effective date of Tuesday's decision. Federal judges will have the final say whether to reduce sentences.

The commissioners said the delay would give judges and prison officials time to deal with public safety and other issues.

Noodling is the practice and sport of fishing for catfish by throwing your hand into the water. It suddenly donned on me a couple of minutes ago, that pretty soon Black History month will coming to its yearly demise. All you have to do is blink and this month comes and goes like a basehead in a 'caine spot. By me being a black man with a voice, Daruffian felt the need to play his part and offer some commentary.
Now, I'm not going to beat you in the head with Black Historty facts that we all have learned ever since that first tear-full experience (for some of you!) when your parents left you in that mysterious place known as grade school for the first time. Once you got apapted to this place, you begin to realize a sudden change during the month of February. Changes like maybe your teacher opted to rock a Dasheki and Kufi instead of the traditional grade school garb. Or the traditional school snack may have changed from cookies, to slices of bean pie. No? You started to learn about important negroes such as Martin Luther King and Harriet Tubman. If you were real lucky, you were educated about cats like Garrett Morgan, inventor of the traffic light, Eli Witney who invented the cotton gin and Madame CJ Walker, Queen of the hair product game who was gettin cake way before Oprah and became the first black female millionaire in the Home of The Free. I however, recieved my lessons from a much deeper source. During grade school I also studied teachings from the black historian more known in hip-hop circles rather than Mcgraw-Hill.
The BlastMaster KRS One taught me about all these cats on the classic unofficial black history cut "You Must Learn" from Ghetto Music: The Blueprint of Hip Hop. Over the years, all of the the shit they teach you in school becomes redundat to where basically its roughly 50 great negroes(maybe) who made significant contributions to American society according to this country's educational system. The things not mentioned are those induviduals, books or films who convey radical views. Encouragment for upliftment is usually always viewed as radical in the eyes on The Man. I finally got the chance to watch this movie last night which I had heard about for years, called The Spook Who sat By The Door written by this cat named Sam Greenlee, who also wrote the book by the same title which came out first.
Because I dont want to do the Siskel and Ebert thing to save everybody time and still drop a jewel, just go rent the damn thing! I can't quite understand why the hell this movie is labeled as a blaxploitation flick because its far from Supa Fly and The Mack. Herbie Hancock also did the soundtrack making this joint that much more enjoyable, adding to the appeal. Shout outs to Kim's Video for being a real movie rental joint and actually having a copy and Anika for putting up the rental fee!

So just to give you an idea of what type of quirky and bizzare shit that will be covered on this here blog, I wanted to offer some reading material to help out with all the shit reading supposedly does in making you a well rounded individual, so they say. That's the beauty of the internet kid. On one hand its the ultimate exercise in Free Speech. On the other hand,you can find all sorts of material and websites that can get your ass under watch by the alphabet boys, you know CIA, FBI well you get the picture. I guess that kinda cancels out the whole freedom of speech thing ?
Our first book is one I saw awile back on some fucking program on T.V. Hit Man: A Technical Manual For Independent Contractors by Rex Feral .Turns out Rex wrote another book titled How To Rip Off A Drug Dealer. The next title is strictly one of survival I guess you could say. Prison Killing Techniques by Ralf Omar Dean Anyway, i just wanted to put these joints out there. If any body has read these joints please comment on them. All reading suggestions on here won't get you red flagged, just some! Peace!

• 138 is the highest The Misfits had come on "the charts" at the time.
• it's about sex (69 x 2 = 138)
• it's a secret code that the songwriter, Glenn Danzig, used as a child.
• it means nothing.
• 138 was a number displayed by a wind-up robot toy.
• the band decided 1:38 was a time to kill.
Danzig has commented on the different explanations that his former bandmates have offered publicly about the song: "They didn't write it and they don't know what the fuck its about. It's about violence."
